AMD Radeon RX 7600 Goes On Sale For $230 At Microcenter

Great Option For Budget Builds!

AMD recently updated its Radeon 7000 series with the launch of Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT. AMD has also priced these graphics cards lower than its competition, offering similar or better performance.

However, with a price tag of $450 and $500, respectively, these graphics cards are far from the hands of budget and mid-range users. With AMD confirming that the RX 7000 series is complete, users cannot look forward to any cheaper other options from the RDNA 3 lineup.

This leaves a huge gap in price and performance between the Radeon RX 7600 and RX 7700 XT. Nonetheless, Microcenter’s latest promotion has made the AMD Radeon RX 7600 a more compelling offering.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 is currently selling for just $230.

The discounted price of the graphics card makes the AMD Radeon RX 7600 a great purchase for budget-oriented PC builds. AMD launched the graphics card in May for $269. Therefore, the latest promotion marks a $40 discount on a very capable 1080p graphics cards.

That being said, the promotion is only available through in-store purchases. Since Microcenter stores are limited to the US, this promotion will not be able to reach a large number of people worldwide.

However, users can expect similar discounts on the graphics card at other stores soon. In addition to the already enticing price of $230, the Microcenter discount is made even better due to the addition of Starfield, which is normally priced at $70.

Following the discount, The Radeon RX 7600 retains its title as the cheapest current-generation AMD graphics card. Users looking for even cheaper options can consider the older but still capable RDNA 2 offerings like the Radeon RX 6600.

On the other hand, the Intel Arc Arc A750 is also being sold for just $200. However, the software experience is not as polished as AMD, which makes the Radeon RX 7600 a safer pick for PC gaming.
