Hogwarts Legacy Enters Top 10 Steam Games With 700K Concurrent Players

In League of 3 Most Played Single-Player Games On Steam!

The new action RPG from Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche, set in the world of Hogwarts, has been one of the best-selling titles on Steam for ten consecutive weeks.

Many Harry Potter fans did not endure February 10th and decided to buy the Deluxe Edition, which grants three days of early access to the game. During this period, the game recorded a peak of 489,139 concurrent players, but that changed with the official release.

Hogwarts Legacy Most Played Games

Apart from being an exclusively single-player title, Hogwarts Legacy accumulated almost 700,000 Steam users playing simultaneously (693,454 was the maximum peak so far), remaining in the Top 10 of the titles of Valve’s digital distribution platform.

However, it should be noted that while Hogwarts Legacy is in 9th place, only Cyberpunk 2077 (peak of 1,054,388) is the true direct competitor considering single-player games.

Elden Ring peaked at 953,426 concurrent users within a week of its release. Still, it has a multiplayer component, so it can be considered a partial contender for the crown of single-player titles with more simultaneous players. This way, Hogwarts Legacy becomes the second (or third, if you count ELDEN RING) single-player title with more simultaneous players on the Valve platform, which is fantastic.

On PC, Hogwarts Legacy supports Nvidia’s DLSS 2.5 and DLSS 3, so those who own a GeForce RTX 40-series graphics card can benefit from the latest iteration of the green team’s time-scaling technology that, in some titles doubles FPS or eliminates the CPU bottleneck.

Hogwarts Legacy also supports AMD’s FSR 2. X and Intel’s XeSS. On the ray tracing side, Hogwarts has effects of reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion via ray tracing, which requires a little more VRAM when activating.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Hogwarts Legacy support multiple graphics modes, the most common of which is Fidelity mode targeting 30FPS and Performance mode targeting 60FPS. Graphics modes for gamers with TVs or monitors that support variable refresh rate (VRR) are supported in Hogwarts Legacy on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
