Goat Simulator 3 Featuring GTA 6!

Goat Simulator 3, the latest entry in the Goat game series by Coffee Stain Publishing developed on Unreal Engine 5, was released for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 17th, 2022.

The game was not that much hyped as the core mechanics of Goat Simulator 3 are fairly similar to its predecessor, and it has not much new to offer other than a four-player co-op mode to enjoy the adventures in the skin of a goat with your friends.

However, the marketing team at Coffee Stain Publishing took matters seriously to hype up the game by releasing a new commercial promoting the hilarious Goat Simulator 3. But they took things too far by referencing massive GTA 6 leaks that took the internet by storm in September 2022.

The Ad for Goat Simulator 3 released recently showcased Shaun the NPC, the leaked protagonist from GTA 6. We all know how Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive react on matters like this, especially if it is as sensitive as GTA 6 leaks.

It was not long before the Goat Simulator 3 Ad on YouTube got a takedown notice from Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive. As the video was not up for a long time, some might assume that this marketing tactic for Goat Simulator 3 failed miserably, or is it?

Due to this controversy, the Ad and Goat Simulator 3 is now making headlines. Ultimately, the game is getting more attention, which indicates that it was a win for the studio to execute something like this.

However, it is not confirmed yet that whether it was only a YouTube strike for Coffee Stain Publishing or Take-Two Interactive will take this matter further legally and will sue the studio for abusing their leaked property.

Only time can tell how this controversy will unfold further. Until then, let us know your thoughts about this. Have you watched that removed ad? Let us know in the comment section below.
