'It’s Something We’re Looking Into.'

Story Highlight
  • Stunlock Studios never gave a statement about whether V Rising will be enhanced for PS5 Pro.
  • However, in the latest interview with Tech4Gamers, the game’s community manager teased the patch.
  • He said ‘it’s something we’re looking into’ and that ‘it’s very possible.’

Tons of games have already been patched for the latest PS5 Pro. However, there are a lot of games that have not received any updates, and fans might wonder if they will ever be patched.

CDPR has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be enhanced for the mid-gen refresh. While that is unfortunate for the Cyberpunk 2077 fans, V Rising fans might have something to look forward to.

The game’s community manager just recently teased a PS5 Pro patch, so it could be coming out soon.

Why it matters: The PS5 Pro offers significantly better visuals than the base console, which can clearly be seen in games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, so V Rising fans would really be excited about the patch, if there is any.

A Massive Update For V Rising Is Set To Release Anytime In 2025

In a recent interview with Tech4Gamers, Jeremy Fielding, the community manager of V Rising, was asked if V Rising is being enhanced for the PlayStation 5 Pro. He didn’t say it is a sure case, but his answer does give a lot of hope to those who want to play the game on the latest mid-gen refresh.

This is a maybe! Funny you ask, it’s something we’re looking into. It’s very possible we’ll be able to make some improvements for it, and I think it would be a nice treat for people who happen to pick up a Pro.

While Jeremy didn’t exactly confirm that the patch is in the works, he did say that it is very possible. So, fans can be optimistic but it would still be better to keep expectations in check

The community manager also had a lot to talk about the upcoming version 1.1. Its release date hasn’t been specified yet, but the developer aims to announce it in a few months.

On that note, what do you think about the game being potentially enhanced for the PS5 Pro? Are you excited about its upcoming massive update? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below, or join the discussion on the official Tech4Gamers forums.
