The game is currently the number one title on the best-selling list of Steam, and it has stayed in this spot for several days. Remnant 2 beat anticipated titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for this spot.
While this list also contains free-to-play titles like CS:GO and Apex Legends, Remnant 2 has outpaced all kinds of competition.
The standard edition of Remnant 2 is available at just $50. The lower price tag appears to have given the game an advantage over competing titles, as it breaks away from the trend of increasing prices in the industry.
In terms of critical reception, the title is no slouch. It currently sits at an average of 80/100 on Metacritic. Gunfire Games appears to have done an excellent job with the title, and the developer is likely to bring even more players to Remnant 2 when it goes on sale in the coming months.
