2025 is going to be another exciting year for PlayStation as Sony has many titles like Ghost of Yotei, Death Stranding 2, and others to be released on the console later this year.

While Xbox has recently confirmed the release date for its next developer direct for next week, it appears that Sony has also plans for State of Play for next month.

Why it matters: The next PlayStation State of Play would give updates on the release date of upcoming games on the console, and may also come with a surprise announcement. 

Just recently, Nate The Hate, who recently leaked the announcement date of Nintendo Switch 2 correctly, replied to one of the followers talking about when fans can expect the next PlayStation State of Play.

The leaker replies suggest that February is the month we can hear more from PlayStation.

Although Nate has been reliable in recent times, it is best to take this news with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed by Sony yet about the next State of Play. 

If the recent rumor is to go by, we believe that Sony has a lot to share with the fans about titles like Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and Ghost of Yotei. Therefore, fans have a lot to look forward to for the next State of Play.
