Within The Next Two Months!

The much-anticipated showcase from PlayStation appears to be right around the corner. As reported by credible leaker Jeff Grubb, PlayStation’s next showcase will take place before Summer Games Fest, scheduled for June 8.

Previously, the leaker reported on PlayStation’s latest State of Play and stated that PlayStation was looking to hold the showcase before E3. However, E3 has now been canceled but PlayStation appears to still be on schedule.

PlayStation 5 Games

The leaker stated that this showcase would set up the next phase of the PS5. As such, fans can expect plenty of new game announcements and follow-ups on old reveals like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and The Last of Us standalone multiplayer.

Recently, Sony has sorted out the PS5 stock shortages. This has led to a fresh marketing campaign in various countries, and a showcase would serve as the perfect opportunity to boost PlayStation’s current momentum.

Leaks have also pointed to a new PS5 model with a disc drive attachment. This would be the first major PS5 hardware refresh and could be announced at the showcase.

All of this should also mean that fans will receive updates from nearly every major publisher and developer in the next few months. PlayStation, Xbox, Ubisoft, and more will hold their separate showcases sometime around June with tons of exciting reveals and gaming news.
