Microsoft is utilizing every drop of its resources to build a strong position in the gaming market. Xbox as a brand has evolved so much recently, and the growth graph is still on the positive side.
Most of the success and appreciation that Xbox gathered is due to its crazy value with Xbox Game Pass, which includes hundreds of high-quality games and many more added to the pass pretty frequently.
Recently, Studios like CyberConnect2 have realized the potential of Xbox Game Pass and decided to shift their distribution method to subscription-model services like Game Pass.
Game Pass provides a massive library ranging from small indie titles to AAA blockbuster titles. Game Pass offers first-party games owned by Microsoft subsidiary studios on the day of their release, and studios with contracts with Microsoft also launch their games with Xbox Game Pass.
By the end of September 2022, around 25 games worth over $500 would have been added to the Game Pass. It could be an accurate estimate as titles like Deathloop and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey have joined the library this month, and many more to come.

Microsoft has grown exponentially in the gaming industry after its defeat in the last-gen consoles battle with Sony in terms of sales. The company made a comeback and is looking stronger than ever. Microsoft is also expanding its branches in Asian regions like Japan, considered PlayStation’s dominant region.
Microsoft made a mark on Japanese markets by adding more Japanese-origin games to their platform and involving more local developers in their projects. Results are already visible as first-time Xbox owners account for half of the console sales in Asia.
The current tiers of Game Pass that Microsoft offers are ‘Xbox Game Pass, ‘Xbox Game Pass For PC,’ both at $9.99/month, and the most valued money deal that Microsoft offers is ‘Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’ at $14.99/month that includes both the Console and PC library of games and on the top of that it provides services like Xbox Live Gold, EA Play Membership, and Xbox Gaming Cloud.
It is an exciting time to be an Xbox fan with all the facilities and services Microsoft is adding to its gaming division. Microsoft is not holding back on any front, and the results are visible with the exponential growth in its fan base worldwide.
