Rayman Remake is Targeting Late 2026 Release Window!

Story Highlight
  • A reliable insider claims Ubisoft has ten games planned for 2026–27.
  • Titles include a new Assassin’s Creed, Ghost Recon, Far Cry, and the Splinter Cell Remake.
  • The Rayman Remake is targeting late 2026, with a new entry depending on its success.

Ubisoft’s value has plummeted in recent years, largely because it stopped listening to its community. The backlash has been so severe that some gamers even wished for the publisher’s closure.

Earlier reports pointed toward possible bankruptcy in 2025, but a deal with Tencent pushed back that threat. Still, despite back-to-back failures, Ubisoft’s upcoming slate appears surprisingly strong.

According to a reliable insider, the company plans to launch 10 projects between 2026 and 2027. Among these, a Rayman remake is reportedly targeting a late 2026 release. If it succeeds, Ubisoft is expected to greenlight a brand-new entry in the series.

Why it matters: Ubisoft needs strong releases to survive, and the next two years look crucial as many major publishers are targeting the same release window.

Splinter Cell Remake Development Is Going Smoothly.

According to a very reliable source for leaks, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, Ubisoft currently has 10 projects targeting a 2026-27 release window.

The next mainline Ghost Recon, mainline Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell Remake, new mainline Far Cry, a Far Cry extraction-based shooter, Prince of Persia Remake, an Animal Crossing-type game, a World War 2 extraction-based shooter, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and a Rayman Remake are the ten projects currently planned.

All of these are targeting a 2026–2027 release window, though delays are always possible due to unforeseen circumstances.

It’s worth noting that the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake and Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer were initially scheduled for late 2025, but no release dates have been confirmed. Beyond that, Ubisoft does not appear to have any major releases planned for this year.

The insider also revealed that beyond 2027, Ubisoft is planning multiple Assassin’s Creed projects (both mainline and smaller entries), a new installment in The Crew, and The Division 3.

As for the Rayman Remake, development is reportedly going smoothly, and Ubisoft is already eyeing a new installment in the franchise. However, the project’s future will depend on the success of the remake.
