Expect Far Better Visual Presentation!

Story Highlight
  • State of Decay 3 is expected to show up at the Xbox Showcase.
  • A reliable leaker states that the game will offer much more enhanced visuals than its predecessor.
  • The title is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, so it may push this technology to its limits.

State of Decay 3 is closer than ever as Xbox gears up for its big annual showcase in June. Four years after the first cinematic trailer was revealed, the gaming giant is expected to unveil a new look at this survival game.

Ahead of this reveal, insiders have begun creating buzz for the showcase. According to a reliable insider and leaker, State of Decay 3 will focus on the core presentation.

Why it matters: This is great news for the franchise since its latest entry will likely appeal to a much larger crowd.

Last year, Matt Booty claimed that fans would finally get to see gameplay of State of Decay 3 within 18 months, and it appears that Xbox may finally deliver on that promise.

Jez Corden from Windows Central points to his sources, stating that he has heard nothing but great things about the visual presentation of Undead Labs’ work. According to his report, the visual presentation will be a core pillar of the experience.

I’ve heard State of Decay 3 does look far more impressive than its predecessor.

Since the game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5, the gameplay and visuals go hand-in-hand. The insider’s statement suggests that new technologies like Lumen and Nanite may be utilized for a more enhanced look.

State of Decay 3 is also expected to lean more on narrative elements, so a more immersive atmosphere would elevate the experience.

Not too long ago, the same leaker claimed that the development of the game was going smoothly, and it looked promising. All in all, Undead Labs’ upcoming survival title has received nothing but good news recently.

The Xbox Showcase is less than three full weeks away. It seems this event will finally bring to light many of the projects revealed as early as 2020, making it an exciting event for all Xbox fans globally.

Apart from State of Decay 3, fans can expect Gears, Doom, and more to show up.
