$10 Upgrade For Previous Spider-Man Owners!

PlayStation has announced more information about Marvel’s Spider-Man and the much anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

At some point in May, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be made available as a separate purchase for PS5 owners.

Why it matters: Previously, the game was tied to Spider-Man Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition on PS5. However, many fans had been asking for a separate release for quite some time.

As seen above, existing Spider-Man owners will be eligible for a huge discount, with the game being available for just $10.

Unfortunately, PS Plus owners who may have redeemed Spider-Man on the service cannot claim this $10 upgrade. For these PlayStation owners, the game will be available for $50.

Additionally, PlayStation has announced a prequel comic for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This comic will cover the lives of Miles and Peter after the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and it should be a great read for fans of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man universe.

PlayStation is expected to host a major games showcase later this month. Fans can expect Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to be a huge focus at the showcase since the game is shaping up to be an enormous release for PlayStation this year.
