AMD has shared new first-party benchmarks of AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. However, it’s not the first time AMD has shared first-party benchmarks. In the previously published benchmarks, AMD claimed that the new processor was nearly 24% or 30% faster than the Core i9-13900k.
Videocardz leaked an official graph that shows the performance test of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU in 21 games with very different performances. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D was compared head-to-head against the Intel Core i9-13900K.
The most significant performance difference is Horizon Zero Dawn, where AMD promises 31% extra performance at 1080p resolution in High Quality. Behind Total War: Three Kingdoms returned 20% better performance on AMD’s CPU or 19% more on DOTA 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
On the opposite side, we have Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. In this case, Intel’s CPU is 9% or 5% faster in Rainbow Six Siege. Overall, in 21 games, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is 6.9% faster than the Intel Core i9-13900K at 1080p resolution.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D features 8 cores and 16 processing threads under the Zen4 architecture running at a Base/Turbo frequency of 4.20/5.00 GHz and is accompanied by 104 MB of cache. All this results in a TDP of 120W.
