It's About Time Capcom Tells Fan More About Leon's Life During His Absence!

Story Highlight
  • Resident Evil Requiem DLC will feature both Ada Wong and Leon Kennedy.
  • The expansion will expand on the world of Requeim, as Capcom puts it.
  • We may also get confirmation on Leon and Ada’s marriage in the DLC.

Leon’s arc will continue beyond Resident Evil Requiem, and we won’t even have to wait much, as Capcom already has plans for a DLC expansion for the game, which will release in the near future.

Now, reports suggest that Ada Wong, the co-protagonist alongside Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil 2, will also be present in the DLC.

Why it matters: It’s nice to see both fan-favorite characters return, even if it’s in the form of a DLC expansion.

Dusk Golem, a known Resident Evil leaker, shared more tidbits on the Requiem DLC in a new social media post. While the insider emphasizes that this leak isn’t from his sources, he does believe that Ada will be present in the DLC in some capacity.

The DLC is also said to “delve deeper into the world of Requiem,” so it will most probably explain the game’s ending. Other rumors suggest that the expansion will focus on what Leon was doing during the events of Resident Evil 7 and 8.

Leon is also shown to be wearing a wedding ring in Resident Evil Requiem and as such, there’s a fan theory that he may have tied the knot with Ada Wong. Even the game director himself has fueled this speculation.

Whatever the case may be, we hope to find out with the DLC expansion.
