Just like every year, the Tokyo Game Show is finally returning. It will happen later this year during the last week of September. The list of exhibitors was also revealed today.

Many details about the show have already been shared, and it appears that 731 exhibitors will be participating, making it one of the most significant events to date. PlayStation will also be attending the show for the first time since 2019.

Why it matters: While the company moved to digital shows over the years, it appears that PlayStation will finally attend this physical event to reveal more about its future projects.

Just today, it was finally confirmed that PlayStation and many other massive companies, such as Capcom, Konami, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco, will attend the Tokyo Game Show 2024.

The company last appeared in 2019 before the launch of the PS5, when Hideo Kojima talked about Death Stranding. The title became a successful release for the company, reaching over 16 million players in just four years.
