Persona 3 Remake Domain Update Hints At Imminent Reveal

Announcement Expected Soon!

For quite some time, rumors suggested that Persona 3 Remake was in the works. While the remake has not been announced, footage of the game surfaced online earlier this year.

However, official news regarding Persona 3 Remake might be coming soon, as the “P3RE.JP” domain has just been updated, being moved from Onamae to Amazon nameservers.

Why it matters: The “P3RE.JP” domain has been heavily speculated to be tied to the Persona 3 Remake, and multiple Persona games were previously revealed after their domain names were updated.

As mentioned above, many Persona games underwent the same updates as the domain “P3RE.JP”, and they all were moved from Onamae to Amazon nameservers. A similar change was observed with “P5T.JP”, another recent domain believed to be a Persona 5 spin-off game.

Some Persona games announced shortly after their domains were updated include Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Persona 5 Royal. As such, it is likely that the remake announcement is coming soon.

Two major gaming events are coming up very soon, Summer Games Fest and the Xbox Showcase. Summer Game Fest will be live tomorrow, while the Xbox Showcase is scheduled for June 11.

Both of these events would provide a great opportunity for an announcement. Recent rumors also suggested that the Persona 3 Remake may be revealed at the Xbox Showcase.

Persona 3 Remake has been one of the most requested games from the Persona franchise as the original game received a lot of love when it was released in 2006. The franchise has also sold over 17 Million copies, and a new remake will likely help increase these impressive figures even further.
