Nvidia Teasing New GPUs!

This year is expected to bring a lot of new computer hardware releases at the CES show in Las Vegas. Nvidia, in particular, will be one of the attendees, with the company teasing us with a new profile picture on its social media account.

Current speculation from several sources indicates the launch of at least three new graphics cards, but there is no official information on what new models of the RTX 40 series Nvidia will unveil this year.

However, we have a good idea that the next trio of cards will come in the form of GeForce RTX 4070 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4080 Super.

The teaser from Nvidia shows a new horizon and a graphics card. This likely means that a new series of products is on the horizon, expanding the GeForce RTX 40 lineup with Super variants.

Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4080 Super is expected to be the most powerful of the trio. However, the RTX 4070 Ti Super will offer the most significant upgrade over its non-Super predecessor.

At release, the RTX 4070 Ti became quite disliked for its outrageous pricing and poor specs. Nvidia is upgrading the graphics cards with 16GB of memory, finally addressing the VRAM criticisms.

This should make it much more capable of 1440p and 4K gaming. The GeForce RTX 4070 Super will not be as much of an upgrade, but it will ship with 7,168 CUDA cores compared to 5,888 on its predecessor.

However, with rumors pointing to a $600 price point, this release may help bring the cost of the existing GeForce RTX 4070 to $500 or lower. This could encourage more PC gamers to upgrade since many believe this is the best value offering from Nvidia in this generation.

With similar upgrades, the GeForce RTX 4080 Super should be closer to the flagship Ada Lovelace GPU. Thanks to 10,240 Cuda Cores and 16GB of GDDR6X memory, the GPU will be a formidable 4K gaming graphics card.

Following the initial reveal at CES, Nvidia is expected to launch the lineup on January 17. The GeForce RTX 4070 Super will be the first to hit shelves, while the rest will follow in the next few days.

Still, it remains to be seen whether Nvidia will discontinue certain products after the release of the graphics cards. For now, all eyes are on CES 2024, which is scheduled for January 9.
