Naughty Dog’s Next Game Is Reportedly A New IP

New IP Is Coming From Naughty Dog!

Update:-

It looks like the source might not have been the most reliable. Following the reveal, many fans were quick to look through the internet and claimed to be unable to find any Naughty Dog developer with the name mentioned in the source.

Original Story:-

Naughty Dog has been known to create some of the most influential games of all time. The developer has worked on platformers like Crash Bandicoot and has inspired a wave of third-person action-adventure games in the last decade after the success of Uncharted and The Last of Us.

Naughty Dog’s last game was released in 2022, but the developer already has multiple projects in development. The first of which is expected to release in 2023, bringing the much anticipated standalone multiplayer title for The Last of Us.

However, Neil Druckmann has also discussed Naughty Dog’s next big project. While he did not reveal the game, this raised many questions about a potential new entry in The Last of Us franchise.

Despite previous expectations, a new interview has now revealed that Naughty Dog’s next game will be a brand-new IP set in a unique and immersive world.

The Last of Us Part 2

The Naughty Dog developer did not reveal much, but he promised that the team would continue to push the boundaries of story and gameplay, similar to the last few releases from the studio.

He also states that the game will feature memorable characters, with a few being voiced by famous actors. A similar instance was seen with Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, which featured actors like Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen.

Neil Druckmann has previously stated that the studio’s next game will be structured more like a Tv series

This also means fans might have to wait a few more years before a new title in the Last of Us franchise.

While some fans might be disappointed that Naughty Dog is not working on The Last of Us, the possibilities of a new IP from the team are exciting. The developer has not worked on a new IP since 2013, and this could allow the studio an opportunity to create its best work yet.
