Guerrilla Games Is Reportedly Working On Horizon Multiplayer

Expert Verified By

Horizon Multiplayer Is Confirmed!

Both Horizon games, Horizon Zero Dawn from 2017 and Horizon Forbidden West from earlier this year, were brilliantly executed by Guerilla Games. Both games have highly positive opinions from fans, and they eagerly anticipate the next title in the Horizon franchise.

The Horizon games are excellent, but since they are single-player only, many fans are curious about how they might play out in Multiplayer.

We might have the answer to that in the future since content creator JorRaptor just discovered numerous job listings from Guerilla Games for an online co-op Horizon game. Guerilla Games states the following in one of their job postings for Lead World Designer:

Guerrilla is looking for a Lead World Designer to bring the expanding Horizon universe to a multiplayer audience.

Guerilla Games further stated in their job listing for Senior Machine Combat Designer:

Guerrilla is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Combat Designer to help create a variety of Machine enemies that are spectacular, challenging and memorable to fight cooperatively.

This is fantastic news for everyone who enjoys Horizon and multiplayer games because they will be in for a brand-new experience in the Horizon Universe. We hope everything goes according to plan for Guerilla Games because many famous single-player games have amazing campaigns but fall short in the Multiplayer area.

Given that a DLC for Horizon Forbidden West was revealed earlier this month, and now a co-op Multiplayer Horizon game has also been revealed, it does not look like Guerilla Games is going to stop with the Horizon franchise anytime soon.

We are excited and looking forward to the multiplayer co-op Horizon game. This is the limited information we have now, but we will be looking for more news regarding the new online co-op Horizon game from Guerilla Games.

On that note, what do you think about Guerilla Games working on an online co-op Horizon game? Let us know in the comments section.
