- Michael’s voice actor, Ned Luke, recently dismissed comparisons between GTA 6 and GTA 5.
- This comment came after some argued that GTA 6 looked very similar to GTA 5.
- Ned Luke praised just how much better Rockstar Games’ latest work looks, especially after his involvement in GTA 5.
GTA 6 has impressed millions of Netflix viewers, but there are those who are still not sold on the title. Whether it be due to the 30FPS cap on consoles or other reasons, some simply don’t like the direction Rockstar Games is taking with the sequel.
Many also believe GTA 6 looks very similar to its predecessor, but Ned Luke, who worked on GTA 5, doesn’t agree with this sentiment.
Why it matters: GTA 6 is set to make billions of dollars when it launches, so it has also attracted the attention of many harsh critics online.

GTA 6 has recently become the center of a graphics debate, and one of GTA 5’s most recognizable actors has weighed in.
When asked what he thought about people comparing the two titles, Ned Luke did not hesitate and stated that some people are “out of their minds.”
This looks nothing like GTA 5. I think they’re out of their minds. I’ll tell you one thing, “I never looked that good(in GTA 5).”
In his full reaction to the GTA 6 footage, the voice actor appreciated the finer details of GTA 6, discussing how Rockstar Games had yet to nail all these elements in GTA 5.
He discussed how characters like Michael couldn’t walk as realistically as Jason and Lucia do, with Michael also unable to stand fully straight. Moreover, the voice actor pointed to how big of a leap GTA 5 was compared to GTA 4, noting that GTA 6 marks an even bigger leap.

Of course, Rockstar Games itself has recently explained how much further it has evolved the series from GTA 5. For instance, the game features 600,000 NPC animations compared to GTA 5’s 55,000.
