Following its release, the game has been available on several platforms, spanning multiple console generations. With the game quickly approaching its 10th anniversary, GTA 5 has just been added to Xbox Game Pass.

Why it matters: GTA 5 has exceeded 180 million sales worldwide. The game continues to provide incredible gaming experiences for new and returning players.

The information has been confirmed by Xbox Wire. It also reveals that Game Pass subscribers will be able to access both last-gen and current-gen versions of the game.

Xbox Series S|X owners can enjoy GTA 5 at 60FPS. The more capable Xbox Series X console also offers the option to enable ray tracing, further improving Rockstar’s latest GTA offering.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also look forward to games like Exoprimal and Insurgency Sandstorm joining the service later in the month.

Rockstar is expected to release GTA 6 in FY2025. This means the next iteration could be released in 2024 at the earliest. Till then, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy the latest Grand Theft Auto offering through the impressive subscription service.
