Selling Like Hotcakes Despite Jaw-dropping Prices

Nvidia has priced its current GeForce RTX 40 lineup much higher than its predecessor, and one might think the demand might not be as high as it used to be. Even though the prices are high this year, the demand is still there, and it seems like many users are opting to go with the latest generation instead of getting the last generation for a cheaper price.

The top 5 best-selling graphics cards on Newegg as of today are non-other than the latest GeForce RTX 40-series from Nvidia. The top five Nvidia graphics cards include:

  1. Gigabyte Gaming GeForce RTX 4090
  2. Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 4080
  3. MSI Suprim GeForce RTX 4090
  4. MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 4090
  5. MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

Even though the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 is selling for a much higher price than the GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 Ti, the demand is still high due to the fantastic performance provides.

Among the entire RTX 40-series lineup, the GeForce RTX 4090 is currently the only graphics card that provides the best price-to-performance ratio and is the only reason users spend more.

Interestingly, users opt for the much more expensive Gigabyte Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 over the cheaper MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 4090, even though the MSI variant offers dual bios and higher boost clocks out of the box.

The Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 4080 is also in demand and has secured the second spot on Newegg’s bestselling GPU list. It does not provide the best value but will fit most users’ budgets who want an excellent 4k gaming experience with support for all the latest Nvidia hardware and software support. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is the least popular graphics card among the bunch and has secured the fifth spot on Newegg.
