Hopes Shattered!

The Need For Speed franchise’s fans has been divided on Need For Speed Unbound since it was released in November of 2022. The latest installment in the series has received mixed reactions from fans worldwide.

Many people felt that the game was far from ideal at launch, and a post-launch content update was sorely needed to give life to the game.

While many fans were excited and impatiently waiting for the first post-launch content update for Need For Speed Unbound, they were immediately disappointed when Need For Speed released the trailer.

The comment section on YouTube and the Need For Speed subreddit quickly began to fill up with enraged fans, as everything that was promised in the content update was just not worth the wait, and they complained that whatever the content update had to offer should have been in the game from launch.

The content update promised three new cars, but fans were outraged to find that two of the cars were slightly modified copies of cars already existing in the game, and one of the cars was even locked behind EA Play, which would be inaccessible unless you are subscribed to the EA Play service.

Furthermore, Fans were also unimpressed with the Keys To The Map DLC because it only lists the 260 collectibles in the game and does not expand beyond the Lakeshore City area in NFS Unbound.

Some people even to applauded The Crew 2 for receiving substantial updates despite being almost 5 years since its release. Meanwhile, the newly launched Need For Speed Unbound failed to deliver its first post-launch content update.

Considering how poorly Need For Speed Unbound has been performing, many wondered if this content update would bring it back to life. However, it doesn’t appear that it will.

We are excited and looking forward to the future of Need For Speed Unbound. This is the limited information we have for now, but we will be on the lookout for more news regarding Need For Speed Unbound in the future.
