The Date Aligns With Sate of Play Rumor!

Story Highlight
  • Fans have been demanding a remake or a remaster of Bloodborne for years now.
  • While the majority of the fandom had lost hope, a new coincidence has ignited the flame of hope once again.
  • Bloodborne maintenance will take place on 3rd December, the same date as a rumored PlayStation State of Play.

There is a rumor about a PlayStation showcase on December 3, 2024. While Sony has not confirmed anything, Christopher Judge, the voice actor of Kratos, recently revealed that some new announcements will be made in two weeks.

When Christopher revealed that this two-week time period wasn’t aligning with TGA, which hints at the State of Play before the major event, however, now, a Bloodborne maintenance update is planned to be held on December 3, which is exactly the rumored date of a State of Play

Why it matters: Fans have been asking for a Bloodborne remaster or just a 60FPS update for a long time, but Sony has been ignoring them constantly, so the fandom has lost all hope. However, now they are finally hoping again.

As you can see in the image above, the servers will undergo maintenance on 12/03/2024, the exact same date that was hidden in a recent PlayStation trailer. This is too much of a coincidence, and due to that, fans are hoping to finally get a remake or remaster announcement.

Sony might also acquire Kadokawa, as the latter has already confirmed the intent. So, the gaming giant might be trying to make a point that the famous Japanese Publisher is in good hands by announcing the long-awaited PlayStation exclusive remaster/remake.

These are just speculations, as nothing has been officially confirmed, so it is better to take them with a grain of salt. Still, it would be a really hyped moment if a remaster or a remake of the much-loved gothic horror Soulsborne is announced.

What do you think of this coincidence? Do you think we will finally get a long-awaited remaster or a remake announcement from Sony? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below or join the official Tech4Gamers forums for discussion.
