The next Dragon Age game, formerly known as Dragon Age Dreadwolf, has seen a lot of hype recently. The RPG was recently revealed to be known as Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and fans have been expecting it to appear in the Xbox Games Showcase.
The game finally appeared in the showcase, delivering impressive footage to fans. While previous leaks pointed to a release before March 2025, fans won’t have to wait for a long time now as it is set to be released in the Fall of 2024.
Why it matters: The last Dragon Age game was released a decade ago, which makes this upcoming release a special one for the fans.
The trailer was quite long and revealed plenty of footage. It provided a visual feast that seemed adequate for a next-gen RPG. With fans hoping for better graphics and gameplay, it seems BioWare has no intentions to disappoint.
The character introductions in the trailer were epic. Every character that was introduced showcased their ability in battle and got their time to shine. The combat also looked equally impressive.
As expected, it focuses a lot on the magic as well as close-range combat. There have been many great moments in the trailer, so fans will likely enjoy this look.
Dragon Age Veilguard isn’t that far away now, as the game is set to be released in the fall of 2024. So, fans can start their journey of defying the gods soon enough. We also hope BioWare is finally able to redeem itself with this release.
Fans should also look forward to the full gameplay reveal coming in just a few more days. Therefore, there is still reason to be excited about Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
