Inspired By Recent God of War Titles!

Paramount Global is gearing up to adapt Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin into a brand new game.

Staying true to the original story, the upcoming game will take a much darker approach than recent games featuring the Ninja Turtles. The company has cited the last two God of War games as inspirations, setting a high bar for the studio.

As reported by Polygon, The game will feature the last remaining Ninja Turtle for an intense action RPG experience.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Last Ronin

While the identity of this turtle can be considered a spoiler for the story, fans can rest assured that the gameplay will not be restricted to his specific playstyle.

This is mainly due to the turtle utilizing weapons from each previous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. As such, fans should expect plenty of variety when it comes to combat encounters and playstyles.

Furthermore, other characters will be part of the game and potentially playable through flashback sequences.

The developer for the project is also a mystery at this point. While the company did not reveal the developer, Paramount Global believes it has found a suitable studio for the ambitious project.

Regarding the potential release window, Paramount Global expects the game to be a ‘few years off.’ In the meantime, fans can try last year’s Shredder’s Revenge to get their fill of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games.
