CORSAIR Upgrades Its RMe Series!

[Press Release] Corsair has upgraded its RMe Series power supplies with a new PCIe 5.1 600W 12V-2×6 GPU cable featuring ThermalProtect over-temperature protection. The updated lineup includes the RM850e and RM1000e, both now rated Cybenetics Platinum for up to 91% efficiency.

The new ThermalProtect cable monitors the 12V-2×6 connection using hardware built into a cable comb positioned near the GPU connector. If the cable temperature exceeds 65°C, the system automatically shuts down the GPU to help prevent potential damage.

Dual-tone connectors also make it easier to visually confirm a secure connection.

Both power supplies are ATX 3.1-certified and PCIe 5.1-compliant. They use 105°C-rated capacitors and feature a fully modular design, a 140mm chassis, and Zero RPM Mode for quieter operation under low and moderate loads.

The RM850e and RM1000e also come with a seven-year warranty and are available in black and white.

The new CORSAIR RMe Series Platinum PSUs are available through authorized retailers and CORSAIR’s webstore.

The RM850e starts at $139.99, while the RM1000e costs $179.99 in the US. European pricing starts at €139.90 and €174.90, respectively.
