CORSAIR Launches MP600 MINI and MP600 CORE XT NVMe SSDs

[Press-Release] Corsair recently announced the launch of its latest addition to the successful M600 series NVMe SSDs. The MP600 mini is compatible with the steam deck because of its size and the MP600 CORE XT is a full-size SSD using the same interface.

The spotlight between these SSDs is the MP600 mini as it is a high-performance SSD geared towards next-generation handheld consoles. For example, this allows you to purchase the cheapest Steam Deck and then add MP600 mini which will provide you with higher speed and higher capacity.

SSD in M.2 2230 format is equipped with 3D TLC NAND memory. This drive is capable of sequential read and write speeds of up to 4,800 MB/s. When it comes to 4K random read and write speeds, we’re talking about 850,000/1,100,000 IOPS.

It consumes 4.3W of energy, has a useful life of 1.5 million hours of use, and there is only a model with 1TB of capacity with a durability of up to 600TB of written data. To this is added a 5-year warranty.

MP600 Core XT is a normal size SSD that is used for PC and laptops. MP600 XT is available in 1,2 and 4TB capacities. It is capable of reading speeds of up to 5,000 MB/ s while writing speeds reach 4,400 MB/s for 2TB and 4TB variants. In the 1 TB model reading speed drops to 3,500 MB/s. The 1TB model consumes 4.1W, the 2TB 4.3W, and the 4TB 5W.

If we talk about the price, the CORSAIR MP600 CORE XT starting price is $59.99 (1TB). The 2TB model costs $114.99, and the 4TB model costs $284.99.
