However, all that negativity has certainly not affected Borderlands 4 fans since the last title in the franchise was released more than four years ago. The community has been hastily waiting to see actual gameplay footage after the first teaser barely revealed anything. 

Now, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has confirmed that the first reveal trailer for the game is in the works. He is not supposed to talk about it, but the full-length trailer is allegedly so good he can’t help himself.

As Randy has tweeted repeatedly, the new Borderlands 4 trailer is in active production, and the scenes from it have made the CEO extremely excited. He’s also replied to users, teasing that it will feature actual gameplay and that we’ll see a lot of new and familiar faces.

While the CEO did not share an exact launch date for the reveal trailer, it is most likely to be during the upcoming Game Awards 2024 event
