Next-gen performance and connectivity arrive in BIOSTAR’s new AMD B850 motherboard.

[Press Release] BIOSTAR has introduced the B850MS-E motherboard, a Micro ATX platform designed for modern AMD Ryzen™ systems. Built around the AMD B850 chipset, the motherboard supports Ryzen™ 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors while offering a balance of performance, connectivity, and efficiency for productivity, entertainment, and business applications.

The BIOSTAR B850MS-E brings current-generation technologies to mainstream PC builds, including DDR5 memory support, PCIe 5.0 storage, and optional WiFi 7 connectivity. Its compact Micro ATX design makes it suitable for space-efficient desktops, home workstations, and small business systems.

The motherboard supports up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR5 memory at up to DDR5-8000+ (OC). Compatibility with Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles allows users to optimize memory performance for smoother multitasking and improved system responsiveness.

For storage, the B850MS-E features a dual M.2 setup. The primary M.2 slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe SSDs, delivering higher bandwidth for faster boot times, file transfers, and application loading. A secondary PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot provides additional storage flexibility for games, media, and everyday files.

The motherboard also supports SATA RAID 0, 1, and 10, as well as NVMe RAID 0 and 1, giving users more options for managing their storage setups.

The B850MS-E includes HDMI® and DisplayPort outputs for high-resolution displays, while Realtek ALC897 7.1-channel audio provides enhanced sound for streaming, movies, music, and casual gaming.

Its networking features include Realtek Gigabit LAN and support for WiFi 7 and WiFi 6E modules, enabling faster wireless connectivity across 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. The WiFi module is supported but sold separately.

BIOSTAR has added practical features such as Debug LED, M.2 Anchor installation, and SMART BIOS UPDATE for easier setup and maintenance. The motherboard’s BIOS update support also helps ensure compatibility with future AMD Ryzen™ processors.

Additional optimization tools, including AI FAN for automatic cooling adjustments and A.I TP Control for simplified BIOS tuning helps users maintain efficient system performance.

With AMD AM5 support, DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 storage, optional WiFi 7, and a compact Micro ATX layout, the BIOSTAR B850MS-E offers a reliable foundation for users building productivity PCs, entertainment systems, and business-focused machines.
