Assassin’s Creed Mirage Looks Stunning In 8 Minutes of New Gameplay

Eight Minutes Long!

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the first recent title in the franchise to move away from the RPG formula. This has led to excitement among fans of the older games, and Ubisoft has begun to show more gameplay footage for the game.

During the latest Ubisoft Forward, the developer revealed nearly 8 minutes of new gameplay.

Why it matters: The franchise has been a huge part of the gaming industry for over a decade. With over 200 million copies sold, Ubisoft continues to find new success with the series.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage returns to the roots of the franchise, and this is central to the game’s overall experience. The latest gameplay demo shows Basim utilizing parkour to traverse the streets of Baghdad.

Elements like stealth are highlighted, including the fan-favorite ability to blend in with crowds to maintain stealth. Much like the previous assassins, Basim can also hide in tall grass to sneak up on enemies.

Recently, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage includes a blue filter similar to Assassin’s Creed 1. This color scheme should provide a nostalgic experience for fans of the first Assassin’s Creed game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available for consoles and PC on October 12, marking the first major franchise release since 2020. Additionally, Ubisoft is already working on several other games in the franchise, including Assassin’s Creed Red, the long-requested game set in Japan.
