Armored Core 6 Reportedly Releasing In August 2023

Coming In A Few Months!

Following the highly successful Elden Ring, FromSoftware is returning to the gaming industry in 2023. The developer is currently working on the next entry in the Armored Core franchise, which has been dormant for well over a decade.

Armored Core 6 was officially revealed at The Games Award last year, but fans have still not seen proper gameplay. This has previously led to speculation about the game being delayed beyond 2023.

However, a recent leak showed a key art and version 2.1.0.1 for the Xbox version. This gave fans hope that a delay would not happen, and a recent report now claims that the game is coming much sooner than expected.

According to the reliable leaker Tom Henderson, Armored Core 6 will be released in August 2023.

With Summer Games Fest and multiple gaming showcases coming up in June, fans can expect to see more from the developer’s latest title.

Since the game was first revealed at The Game Awards, it is speculated that it will be featured at Summer Games Fest on June 8. Both events are led by Geoff Keighley, who has previously hosted the gameplay reveal for Elden Ring.

PlayStation is also rumored to host a showcase in May, and the gaming giant has great ties with FromSoftware. The developer has previously worked on two exclusive games for PS3 and PS4, and this relationship could encourage FromSoftware to showcase Armored Core 6 during the big PlayStation event.

Armored Core 6 was also rated in Korea recently. Games are typically rated a few months before release, so a delay does not seem likely at this point.

FromSoftware has become widely popular since its last release in the Armored Core franchise. With the developer’s success over the last decade, millions of new fans will try Armored Core for the first time.

As such, the developer has likely taken extra care to ensure that Armored Core 6 lives up to the anticipation and delivers the best experience from the series yet.
