Helps Keeping The Price of The Game Lower!

Alan Wake 2 is an upcoming survival horror game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games. During the PlayStation showcase, the developer announced that the title will release on October 17.

The game is set to be released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.The game’s gameplay trailer has been released, which looks completely astonishing.

The game is about an FBI agent named Saga Anderson, assigned to Bright Falls to investigate some killings in Alan Wake 2, which takes place 13 years after the original game’s events.

You can play as Alan Wake and Saga Anderson in the sequel’s two distinct adventures. You will have the freedom to play them in whatever order you like. You’ll enjoy two single-player stories as two playable characters are in the game.

Moreover, in an FAQ, Remedy Entertainment said the game will be a digital-only release for multiple reasons.

“For one, a large number of [players] have shifted to digital only,” it wrote.

“You can buy a Sony PlayStation 5 without a disc drive and Microsoft’s Xbox Series S is a digital only console. It is not uncommon to release modern games as digital-only.

“Secondly, not releasing a disc helps keep the price of the game at $59.99 / €59.99 [£49.99] and the PC version at $49.99 / €49.99 [£39.99].”

You will receive pre-order bonus content if you purchase the game early, which includes an Ornate Revolver skin for Alan and a survival resource pack for Saga. The latter (contains a flare, a first aid kit, painkillers, and a coffee cup amulet). The amulet’s benefit is that it prevents Saga from dying of a lethal blow and breaks forever after wearing it.

Alan Wake 2 DELUXE EDITION:

In addition to the Standard Edition for Alan Wake 2, a Deluxe Edition also exists, which contains the following content.

  • Expansion Pass
  • Night Springs Expansion(Additional Story Content)
  • Lake House Expansion(Additional Story Content)
  • Nordic Gun Skin for Saga(In Expansion Pass)
  • Crimson windbreaker for Saga
  • Celebrity costume for Alan
  • Lantern amulet for Saga

Regarding the pricing details, Alan Wake 2 costs $59.99 for the Standard Edition and $79.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition on consoles; and costs $49.99 on the PC platform via the Epic game store.
