Noctua NF-A12x25 G2: The New Gold Standard 120mm Fans

The New 120mm Flagship.

[Press Release] Noctua has released the NF-A12x25 G2, a next-gen 120mm fan that builds on the success of the original NF-A12x25. With a new blade design and an upgraded motor, the G2 delivers improved airflow, reduced noise, and enhanced efficiency across all cooling setups—whether on radiators, heatsinks, or as a case fan.

Made from Sterrox® LCP with an ultra-tight 0.5mm tip clearance, the fan offers precise airflow control. The redesigned impeller features Progressive Bend geometry, winglets, and Flow Acceleration Channels, along with a new Centrifugal Turbulator Hub. These enhancements surpass the original model’s performance.

The NF-A12x25 G2 uses an etaPERF™ motor and Smooth Commutation Drive 2 for better efficiency and low electrical noise. SupraTorque™ adds torque reserve under pressure, making it ideal for dense cooling setups. It comes in three variants: a standard PWM model (1800 RPM), a quiet LS-PWM version (1100 RPM), and an Sx2-PP set with slight RPM differences to reduce resonance in dual-fan setups.

It also supports accessories, such as the NA-AVG1 gasket for enhanced radiator sealing and the NA-IS1-12 spacer for improved pull-setup airflow. Combined with SSO2 bearings, a complete accessory kit, and a 6-year warranty, the NF-A12x25 G2 stands as Noctua’s new flagship 120mm fan.

The NF-A12x25 G2 is launching today on Amazon.
