Story Highlight
  • Kuba Wichnowski, a former Star Wars Outlaws developer, is now part of the team working on The Witcher 4.
  • The developer has joined as a Senior Environment Artist after working in a similar position at Ubisoft Massive.
  • He also has extensive experience working with past CDPR games and has recently rejoined the studio.

Star Wars Outlaws garnered a reputation as one of Ubisoft’s biggest disappointments. Despite a massive team being involved in development, the game failed to meet financial targets, and Ubisoft is now placing its faith in Assassin’s Creed Shadows for better results.

Many developers from the Star Wars Outlaws team have moved on since then, joining various other studios. One such developer is now a part of CDPR and working on The Witcher 4.

Why it matters: The Witcher 3 is still considered to be gaming’s best RPG by many, creating unprecedented buzz for its successor. This also means that fans are desperate for any information they can find about the sequel.
