As display technology changes quickly, we observed some of the most promising trends that surprised everyone at CES 2025. Here are the biggest trends that stood out and could take the overall user experience to the next level.
OLED Technology Moves Beyond Gaming
OLED monitors are well-praised for their fast speed, bright colors, and sharp images, making them the top choice for gamers. Over the past years, however, they have been too expensive for customers, but CES 2025 showcased how they are becoming more affordable and available for creators and entertainment lovers.
The Dell 32 Plus QD-OLED monitor was one of the year’s most exciting announcements. Its amazing OLED image quality and special spatial audio feature are impressive. At just $800, it’s a great choice for creators and professionals who don’t want to overspend.
Furthermore, Samsung also introduced its Smart Monitor M9. This monitor, with built-in apps and a sleek, thin design, is useful for work and entertainment. Because these monitors have smart features, the price may be higher, but it has not been announced yet.
Asus introduces the Neo Proximity Sensor in the upcoming ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG, priced around $899, which has been well-received by the community.
