[Press Release] Enermax’s award-winning power supply is now up for sale. Securing the PCMag CES 2024 Best Product award, the PlatiGemini sets a new bar, supporting both Intel ATX 3.1 and ATX12VO standards.
Built to provide maximum efficiency for professionals and system integrators, the power supply minimizes losses and removes the 3.3V and 5V lines.
Enermax boasts support for 24-pin and 10-pin energy-saving motherboards, making the PlatiGemini useful across a range of systems. Providing just 12 volts to system components, the PlatiGemini does not need to convert to other voltage levels.
This makes it highly efficient for all tasks. Elsewhere, Enermax confirms support for the PCIe 5.0 standard. The power supply is well-equipped to handle surges as high as 235%, while the already-included 600W 12V-12×6 cable allows it to be paired with high-end graphics cards.
Another highlight is the use of 100% Japanese capacitors. With up to 94% efficiency at average loads and 74% efficiency at a 2% load, it exceeds the typical efficiency standard of the 80 Plus Platinum branding.
To keep temperatures in check, the PSU packs a 135mm dual-ball bearing fan. Semi-fanless technology also keeps the PlatiGemini running without the fans until 60% workloads are reached.
Also included is Enermax’s dust-free rotation technology, which helps keep the power supply dust-free through reverse fan spin. This technology can further serve as a power-on indicator.
The Enermax PlatiGemini is now available from the official website and Amazon. European customers will be able to find it on sale from April, with all purchases including premium mesh-sleeved cables.
