Ryzen 7 7800X3D Selling For $406 After Latest Price Cut

First Discount On The 7800X3D!

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D till now was the only chip within its series without any discounts due to its demand and popularity among gamers. However, that is no longer the case, as the chip has now seen a nearly 10% discount on its price tag.

Compared to its more powerful counterparts like the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and Ryzen 9 7900X3D, the processor has been in demand due to its price-to-performance ratio. This is also one of the reasons why AMD was holding onto the MSRP of its best 3D V-Cache chip on the market.

One of the big online retailers, Newegg, has now lowered the price of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D on its eBay listing. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D can now be availed for just $406, which was priced at $450.

Furthermore, Microcenter is also offering a discount on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a price tag of $419. Users can also find an additional $20 discount by pairing their newly owned Ryzen chip with a motherboard, making the offer even better than Newegg’s deal.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is based on AMD Zen 5 architecture. The chip comes equipped with a total of 8 cores and 16 threads and a base clock of 4.2 GHz. It can also hit a max boost clock of 5 GHz in certain scenarios.

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D has a lower boost clock than its regular non-3D V-Cache chips. That is because the 3D V-Cache memory on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is quite sensitive to overclocking and high temperatures.

Unlike the Ryzen 5000 series, the current Zen 4 architecture from AMD also comes equipped with integrated graphics. This is an advantage for anyone looking to take advantage of the discount while holding on for the right moment to get their hands on a new graphics card.
