Why it matters: Fans have criticized the consultancy agency for running various games. Some companies, like Square Enix and Powell Group, have even backed off from their deals with Sweet Baby Inc.

Talking to TheGamer, Grant Roberts, former narrative director at Sweet Baby commented on the company’s current position in the gaming industry. He said that their partner companies supported them privately even when they were criticized by Elon Musk

And so, no matter what these people do, they’re not gonna stop us. They’re not going to stop the way that the world is now.

He explained that the support was private because a public display is an open invitation to attack from the people. But Robert would like to see more companies defend them publicly so they have a clear stance in the industry.
