As part of this new push, Xbox is hoping to make the development process on its platform smoother than ever for third-party studios. This is important for indie studios since various teams have faced difficulties with the most trivial matters when creating games for the Series S|X.

While developers have previously admitted that support for the PS5 is mostly prioritized due to its popularity, it’s undeniable that technical hurdles have become a problem for this platform on multiple occasions.
