CDPR Is Recording Huge Numbers Already!

Story Highlight
  • The Witcher 4 is one of the most anticipated games and has helped soar CDPR’s stocks.
  • This has helped the company become one of Europe’s most valuable companies.
  • Its sales even surpass other departments like defense spending and AI companies.

CD Projekt Red is undeniably one of the finest video game developers of the current era. Known for massive hits like The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, the developer has left a significant mark in the industry as it approaches The Witcher 4.

The hype for The Witcher 4 is so high that it has led CDPR to become one of the most valuable companies in Europe, despite the title still being years away. It has even overtaken other major departments of the region.

Why it matters: The Witcher 3, over 10 years later, is still considered the gold standard for RPGs, so naturally, the hype for the next installment in the franchise is already through the roof.

CDPR is now one of Europe’s most valuable companies.

According to Bloomberg, CD Projekt is the most expensive stock in Europe’s benchmark Stoxx 600 Index, trading at 29 times next year’s estimated revenue. That leaves even a basket of AI winners trailing in the dust.

The biggest selling point for investors is the potential boost in sales when the fourth installment of The Witcher franchise is released. So, despite the fiasco that was Cyberpunk 2077’s release, investors and fans still trust the studio.

It even surpassed the defense and AI spending index.

Compared to other major studios like Take-Two, Ubisoft, and EA, CDPR still soars a lot higher. Another reason for this is the company’s continued support for its games. It is still adding new content to Cyberpunk and even Witcher 3 at times.

Nonetheless, this proves how massive CDPR has become. The company also recently offered job openings for people who were laid off by Microsoft, and is one of the few who haven’t had any layoffs as of yet.
