A couple of weeks ago, after Konami officially revealed the new Silent Hill games, including the highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake, rumors about the potential Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater started circulating on the internet.

An alleged video that was claimed to be posted by Virtuos Games containing the reveal date for the announcement of the remake went viral on the internet, and people started speculating that the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will be announced at The Game Awards 2022. However, the video was proven fake and deleted shortly after that.

Fast forward to today, a Reddit user shared that Virtuos Games have listed Konami as a recent client on their official website.

Further, the user stated that the official Virtuos Games Twitter account follows Konami and its subsequent accounts on Twitter. It should be noted that Konami and Virtuos Games have no previous track record of any collaborative project, and both studios haven’t officially announced working on a project together.

It is also noteworthy that it is the second time the name Virtuos Games has come up with a potential report of a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake. Still, there is no official confirmation from Konami or Virtuos Games that they are working on any future project together.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake has an insane amount of hype around it, and in most instances, fans have misused this popularity and spread fake rumors about this game. As this was not the first time fake rumors about a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake surfaced on the internet a few months ago, a new leaker who was later exposed made the claims about an MGS 3 Remake in the works, but ultimately, they were proven fake later.

Similarly, Virtuos Games listing Konami as their client does not confirm that the studios are working on a Metal Gear Solid game. So it will be wise to take this one with a grain of salt. What are your thoughts about this? Let us know in the comment section below.
