But, if rumors are to be believed, fans won’t have to wait much longer for something new in the franchise, as the Elder Scrolls Oblivion remake is dropping very soon.

According to reliable insider Jeff Grubb, the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake is set to shadow drop next week. Nothing is specific now, but the insider believes this release could coincide with a probable Xbox event on April 23.
The insider further stated that April 21 is one to look out for, as the remake can launch on any date this week. This info corroborates what we previously heard about the Elder Scrolls 4 remake, with many stating it would launch before the summer of 2025.
Development has been going on for quite some time, so this release window does match up. Elder Scrolls is still culturally relevant, with the online game just recently reaching 20 million players and making over $15 million every month despite no new mainline entry in over a decade.
Hence, the Elder Scrolls 4 remake could be a major seller, and with the next mainline title not even in the alpha phase, the remake is the only Elder Scrolls thing fans will be getting from Bethesda for some time. With news about the next game coming in July, Elder Scrolls fans have much to look forward to.
