Next Look At Tekken 8 Incoming!

The Game Awards showcase is nearly here, and the annual event has become more and more exciting with each passing year. Fans have come to expect massive announcements from the event in recent years, and the hype for Game Awards 2022 is through the roof.

While huge titles like Final Fantasy 16 have been confirmed for The Game Awards, some surprises are already beginning to show up. Tekken commentator and content creator AvoidingThePuddle has teased Tekken 8 for The Game Awards.

The streamer has been informed about the game’s presence beforehand. This sounds like great news for Tekken fans, who have been starved for a new game for many years.

Tekken 7 was released on consoles in 2017, and the game is over five years old. However, the arcade release dates back to 2015, marking nearly eight years since the game’s original release. As such, fans will be glad to jump into a new entry from the beloved franchise.

Tekken 8 promises revamped visuals and animations. The last title’s success has allowed Bandai Namco to go for all out for the sequel, and fans can expect a next-generation experience from Tekken 8.

Earlier this year, Tekken 8 was officially revealed at Sony’s last State of Play. The game looked impressive, with fan-favorite characters Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima featured in the trailer.

Fans can expect a brand-new trailer from The Game Awards. While two classic characters are now confirmed, the developers could be gearing up to show off the rest of Tekken 8’s character roster.

A release date has not been announced for Tekken 8. Current speculations point to a 2023 release date, but nothing is set in stone yet. However, fans can tune in to The Game Awards on December 8, 2022, to learn more about Tekken 8.

Are you a Tekken fan? Which character is your favorite? Who will you play in Tekken 8? Let’s discuss this in the comments.
