Coming Alongside Indiana Jones!

Story Highlight
  • Multiple rumors previously suggested that Starfield is coming to PlayStation 5.
  • These reports also hinted at a potential release for Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2.
  • A new insider now claims Starfield will arrive on Switch 2 next year, alongside Indiana Jones.

Starfield generated massive excitement ahead of its 2023 release, largely thanks to Xbox’s brilliant marketing. However, the hype grew so overwhelming that the game inevitably fell short of expectations, leading many fans to label it as the most hyped disappointment of this generation.

That said, Starfield was far from a terrible game. While reviews from both critics and players were mixed, it still managed to cater to a dedicated audience and achieve commercial success. Rumors have long suggested a PS5 release, but now a new report points to the game also heading to the Switch 2 next year.

Why it matters: Xbox no longer believes in exclusives, so it won’t be surprising if it announces porting Starfield to the Switch 2.

Starfield coming to Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t a new rumor. Previously, an insider claimed that the game would arrive on the platform in 2026. Now, Nate The Hate, a leaker who has a fair track record, backs this rumor.

During Gamescom, it was revealed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on Switch 2 next year. However, according to the insider, it won’t be the only game making its way to the console.

Indiana Jones & the Great Circle won’t be the only Bethesda game coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. See that planet? You can go there. Aside from landing on PS5… Starfield is planned for release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.

There is currently no information on any other game yet, so it seems like Starfield and Indiana Jones are heading to the Switch 2. However, only one of these games, the latter one, has been confirmed officially.

While Nate The Hate is considered a credible source, it’s best to take this report with a grain of salt until Xbox or Bethesda provides official confirmation.
