His latest report states that such a game is indeed being worked on. However, the development is being led by Respawn Entertainment.

Initially reported by Jeff Grubb, Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars title will focus on mobility and style.
Tom Henderson now adds that the movement will offer various options to elevate the experience. The developer is also using its experience from Titanfall and Apex Legends to bring a first-person perspective for this release.
Sources state that it will include vertical jumping and horizontal dashing, offering fast-paced movement akin to Respawn Entertainment’s past first-person shooters. Meanwhile, players will control a Mandalorian bounty hunter who will complete bounties for rewards.
Moreover, it has been claimed that the game takes place at the time when the Galactic Empire was dominating the galaxy. In terms of The Mandalorian’s arsenal, sources state players will have access to a grappling hook, a wrist rocket, and more.
The game will also focus on linear levels as opposed to an open world. All of this sounds very exciting, but the game is still in early development.
Respawn Entertainment currently has a lot on its plate. The studio is working on a third Star Wars Jedi game, while a strategy game based on the IP is being produced by the team.
Therefore, this adventure based on The Mandalorian might not be out for a few more years. However, the premise alone is exciting enough for many fans.
The report confirms that Respawn Entertainment has not decided on multiplayer elements for the project. It also appears to be a year or two away from release, at minimum, until more details are revealed.
