Rebellion Developments’ Sniper Elite is a tactical shooter video game series. It’s a third-person tactical shooter that emphasizes a less direct approach to warfare, urging the player to use stealth and maintain a safe distance from the adversary as a sniper.
The latest entry in the franchise, Sniper Elite 5, is set to launch today in the US region and tomorrow for the rest of the world. It should be noted that the game is currently under embargo. Various YouTubers have been provided with early access to the game.
However, only specific game campaigns have been allowed to be streamed. But today, a YouTuber named BIGDADDYJENDE allegedly broke the embargo on the gameplay and uploaded a video on YouTube showcasing one of the endings of the game. Spoiler warning ahead, watch at your own risk:
It has been labeled as the good ending in World War 2 implying that there are multiple endings to the game. But right after that he also posted the bad ending revealing almost everything there was to the end of the game.
It’s a really strange move on BIGDADDYJENDE’s part because breaking the embargo could lead him to problems with the game publishers which hasn’t happened yet. And considering that the game is very close to its launch it really unlikely that he’ll get into any trouble after all.
Sniper Elite 5 is set to launch on almost all major platforms except the Nintendo Switch. The graphics may not look next-gen because it’s a game that has been developed for older consoles like Xbox One and PS4 as well. However, the great shooting mechanics and stealth are the real things that Sniper Elite fans care about. Sniper Elite 5 launches tomorrow worldwide and we are really excited to play it (and avoid spoilers of course, unless you don’t care).
Let us know your opinions. Will you play Sniper Elite 5 and do you care about game spoilers?
