In this generation, there have been countless moments when PlayStation has outdone Xbox. One of the main reasons for that could be the latter’s less focus on the hardware market. Sony has managed to assert its dominance in the gaming market, and it is planning to increase it even further by acquiring Kadokawa, FromSoftware’s parent company.
Right now, the gaming giant is dominating the top 5 best-selling spots in the video games category on Amazon.
Why it matters: PlayStation has won the console war this generation yet again, but Xbox has some trump cards of its own. That said, for now, PlayStation’s dominance remains intact.
PlayStation currently holds the top five spots on Amazon. Of the top ten best-sellers, Xbox holds only one spot. Also, it is worth noting that Sony’s gaming division holds numbers 8 and 10.

Given how big of a difference there was between Xbox Series S|X and PS5, this PS dominance isn’t that surprising. Fans should also note that other than the $10 gift card, everything is available at a discount due to Black Friday deals.
Regardless of the competition, it is good to see the gaming giant dominate one of the most prominent platforms gamers use.
