- Phantom Blade was announced in 2023 at a PS Showcase without a release window.
- It has been confirmed that the release date will be announced at TGA 2025.
- The game’s previews have had an overwhelmingly positive reception.
Phantom Blade Zero was first announced in 2023 at a PlayStation Showcase, generating massive anticipation among the fans. It features slick gameplay, and the studio aims for it to be revolutionary for the action games genre.
Amid all the trailers and information we’ve had on the game, it still didn’t have a solid release date. However, now the studio has confirmed that the Phantom Blade Zero release date will be revealed at The Game Awards 2025.
Why it matters: Fans have loved absolutely everything going on around the game, so the excitement is already through the roof, and now they don’t have to wait too long to find out when it finally comes out.

The Game Awards, in a recent X post, confirmed that the Phantom Blade Zero release date will indeed be revealed at the upcoming event. It will be a world premiere announcement, so we can expect new visuals as well.
S-Game, the developer, is a Chinese studio that isn’t afraid to do things out of the box. As things currently stand, and considering the immense positive reviews its previews have had, this could be another Black Myth: Wukong in the making.

For now, the rumored release window is fall 2026. However, that is the same time GTA 6 comes out, so we wouldn’t be surprised if S-Game changes it to avoid clashing with Rockstar’s upcoming behemoth release.
