Konami is set to introduce Metal Gear Solid to both new and old fans in a new light through the upcoming remake. Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is utilizing Unreal Engine 5 to rejuvenate this iconic title.
This remake was previously expected to launch in 2024, but Konami has yet to share an official release date. As Summer Game Fest approaches, an insider has now teased a delay, stating that Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake has been pushed back till 2025.
Why it matters: The delay might come in handy since the studio could offer a polished remake after Silent Hill 2’s recreation failed to impress fans.
Metal Gear Solid 3 was originally released in 2004. The game set a high bar for the stealth-action genre and elevated the series to new heights.
