- Intergalactic, Naughty Dog’s new IP has surpassed Concord’s dislikes record.
- The live service game has 84K dislikes, while Intergalactic already has crossed 100K.
- The current situation points towards a bigger disappointment than Concord is coming.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is the latest IP from the creators of TLOU and Uncharted. While most fans were hyped when the rumors about a new Naughty Dog IP surfaced, it quickly turned into disappointment when the trailer was revealed at TGA.
Fans are calling out Intergalactic for promoting DEI, and this has also led to the game surpassing the record for most dislikes on YouTube previously held by Concord.
Why it matters: The game has been a topic of controversy ever since its reveal at TGA 2024. The criticism even led to PlayStation disabling comments on the trailer, which many people called Concord 2.0.
However, even Concord didn’t manage what Intergalactic has done. The official gameplay trailer for Concord currently sits at 84K dislikes, while Intergalactic’s trailer has already beaten the record and amassed over 215K dislikes.
This could seriously ruin Naughty Dog’s reputation, which it has built over the years with wonderful franchises like The Last of Us, Uncharted, and Jak and Dexter.
Assuming that it’s a big-budget title and if the sales suffer, PlayStation could have a bigger flop than Concord. The release window for the game is still unknown so we can’t really say for sure what happens, but things are currently looking grave.
